About Page

My name is Kingsley Ahanonu. I have one big belief: everyone deserves to understand money. Not just rich people. Not just people with fancy degrees. Everyone.

Think of a map. Without one, you can get lost, even in a place you visit every day. Money works the same way. Most people aren’t lost because they’re bad with money. They just never got the map. My job is to be your map.

I have worked in finance and business for over nine years. I have helped business owners, families, and company directors understand insurance policies, investment products, and financial contracts, in plain language, without the jargon.

My story

I have worked in finance and business for over nine years. I started as a young intern at a big company in Lagos, Nigeria, where I helped clients understand their accounts and their options. Over the years, I worked my way up. I managed important multinational companies.

In each of those jobs, I sat with people business owners, families, company directors and helped them understand the small print of their contracts and policies. I helped them ask the right questions. I helped them make better decisions with their money.

I saw something over and over again. People weren’t making bad choices because they were silly. They were making bad choices because the information was too confusing. Insurance forms full of big words. Investment plans that sounded like a foreign language. Nobody was explaining things simply. So I decided to start doing that myself.

A short story

Imagine a woman called Grace. She works hard every day. She earns a decent wage. But every month, her money disappears and she doesn’t know why. Nobody ever taught her how savings work. Nobody showed her how a simple insurance plan could protect her family. Nobody explained that even £20 a month, invested wisely, could grow into something life-changing. Grace isn’t lazy or careless. She just never got the map. That’s who I write for. People like Grace.

My education

I studied Psychology at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. Psychology is the study of how people think and feel. That might sound strange for someone who talks about money but it is actually the perfect background. Why? Because money isn’t just numbers. It’s emotions. Fear. Hope. Trust. Understanding how people think helped me explain things in a way that actually connects.

Right now I have my MBA — a Master’s degree in Business. It’s making me even sharper when it comes to understanding how businesses, markets, and financial systems work. I bring all of that knowledge here, but I always translate it into plain, simple language. No big words. No showing off. Just clear, useful information.

My life today

Today, I live in England with my wife and our beautiful daughter. Moving to a new country taught me a lot. I had to learn a whole new financial system – new banks, new rules, new ways to save and invest. It was not easy. But going through that experience gave me something valuable: I now understand both the African and the UK financial world. That means I can help people in both places find their footing.

A short story

When I first arrived in England, I walked into a bank and asked about saving for my daughter’s future. The adviser used so many terms I didn’t recognise. ISA. Premium bonds. Tax relief. I smiled and nodded – but inside I was confused. That moment reminded me exactly how most people feel when they try to understand money. And it made me more determined than ever to make this blog a place where nobody has to fake a smile and pretend they understand. You can just ask. And I’ll explain it clearly.

What you’ll find here

On Infinite Policy, I write about three main things. First, insurance – what it is, why you need it, and how to choose the right cover without paying too much. Second, investing – how to make your money grow over time, even if you are starting with a small amount. Third, income – practical, proven ways to earn more money in today’s world.

Everything I write is based on real experience. I am not guessing. I have spent nearly a decade helping businesses and families make smart financial decisions. I know what works. And I know what sounds good but doesn’t.

I am not here to sell you anything. I am here because I genuinely want to help. When you understand money, your whole life opens up. You worry less. You plan better. You give more to the people you love. That’s the future I want for every single person who reads this blog. Let’s build it together – one simple step at a time.
